Stephen Swanton and Hannah Lynch

First Generation

1.    Stephen Swanton, a currier, married Hannah Lynch in 1879 in Cork City. In
       1880 they lived at Kearney's Lane, RD 3, North Centre, Cork City. In 1882,
        they lived at 353 Blarney Street, Cork No. 3, Cork City. In 1884 and 1886
        they lived at  357 Blarney Street..

       Stephen converted to Catholicism, and was baptised on June 28, 1879 at St.
       Mary's Cathedral, Cork City.

       "I, Stephen Swanton of my own free will and with the help of God's grace,
        renounce Protestantism and embrace the faith of the Holy Catholic Church
         this 28th June 1879. (His signature)

        By the authority received from the Rt. Rev. D. Delaney."

       "I absolved from heresy and baptized unconditionally the above Stephen
        Swanton."

Second Generation

2.    Robert Swanton was born on April 5, 1880. At this time, the  family lived at
       Kearney's Lane, RD 3, North Centre, Cork City.

3.    Mary Margaret Swanton was born on July 3, 1882. At this time, the family
       lived at 353 Blarney Street, Cork No. 3, Cork City.

4.    Timothy Swanton was born on July 17, 1884. At this time, the family lived at
       357  Blarney Street, Cork No. 3., Cork City. Timothy was baptised at St.
       Mary's Church on July 19, 1884. The baptismal sponsors were Abraham
       Swanton and Mary Lynch.

5.    Anne Marie Swanton was born on November 11, 1886. At this time, the
       family lived at 357 Blarney Street, Cork No. 3., Cork City. Anne Marie was
       baptised at St. Mary's Church on November 13, 1886. The baptismal
       sponsors were Cornelius Coughlan and Mary Geroghty.
